As of November 2022, I have published >400 original articles and new concept papers, among which I am the first, last or co-last author in about 50% of papers. A number of papers have been published in high-impact journals with Impact Factor >20 (New England Journal of Medicine, Nature, Nature Genetics, Nature Reviews Clinical Oncology, JAMA, JAMA Oncology, Journal of Clinical Oncology, Annals of Oncology, Gastroenterology, Gut, Science Translational Medicine, etc.). (Impact Factor is used merely for convenience. I do not intend to use it as a definitive metric of quality of any given journal.)
I have published 40 other peer-reviewed articles, many of which have introduced novel concepts, paradigms, theories, and research frameworks related to MPE (listed below).
Clarivate Analytics / Web of Science (formerly, Thomson Reuters) has determined me as one of the “Most Influential Scientific Minds: 2014” and one of the “Highly Cited Researchers” in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022.
